Roaming Computing System (Windows Edition) 3 - Nero BurnRights
Contents
Description
CD/DVD writing requires full disk access for the user writing the CD/DVD. By default Windows doesn't allow restricted users full disk access because as well as full write access to CD/DVD it also allows full write access to the hard disk, which is a security risk. Nero BurnRights changes the Windows security settings with regard to this.
Nero BurnRights is preferable over some other CD/DVD writing software's Windows service to achieve the same because it edits the registry and so isn't a TSR, so is assumed to be more stable and less memory hungry.
