I'm intrigued with
bins
that hold litter
beside the sausage counter

there isn't any
litter
because its in the green battered bins
plastic ones & metal ones

& a little one on a sign post

the sidewalk is actually clean
except for ketchup stains
& grease stains
which is marvellous

considering all the people that stand
with their sausages & paper napkins
talking, smoking
drinking a beer
& eating

in the light
under the sausage counter
walking up then walking on
to somewhere in the night
